More Illinois Pictures

 These kiddos love their Papa SO much. I can't wait for Lincoln to be big enough to play with him too!

It was a team effort whenever Lincoln was involved. Brooke and Connor wanted him in the swing so bad!

 A little airplane time. :) We won't talk about when dad balanced Lincoln on one hand and about dropped him (he caught him, I closed my eyes). 

If I could figure out what the deal was with Lincoln's naps in IL, I would be the happiest person. There he took an afternoon nap of 2-3 hours. Here, he's up after 45 min. I'm guessing it was all the commotion and chaos, but it was glorious!

Lincoln tried on Connor's hat. It was a little big, but Lincoln was about the same age as Connor in the picture.

I got to spend the week with my 2 year old niece and 6 year old nephew. They crack me up. Here are a few pics from the week!

My favorite is Brooke in the fold out couch. That was while we were furniture shopping. Brooke was done apparently!

How is my nephew 6 years old already? Wow times flies! He's racking up as many moves as a military child as well. They are off to Illinois in early 2012!

Second Day of School

I got to see Connor off on the school bus for his second day of school! He was so darn excited it was cute. He wanted to go out and wait for the school bus (which comes across the street) 30 minutes before it was scheduled to come. I miss you, buddy!

And yes, Brooke insisted on wearing her shoes OVER her footy pajamas!

First Week of School!

I've been watching the little munchkins on base march past our house in the morning on their way to the elementary school that is just down the street. How is fall here already? Wowzers, this year has really flown by. I can't believe that school is back in session.

It makes me feel like I should be starting something new as well and I suppose I will be, soon enough. One month from today, all our worldly possessions will be packed in to crates to make the 2 month trip to Virginia. Their expected delivery date is December 6th!

My nephew, Connor, started school yesterday and what a little man he is.

Excellent call on the matching Spiderman t-shirt and backpack. I definitely approve! Those little girls are going to LOVE you! Just like I do.

I feel like this what just taken yesterday. Now you are almost 6!

Life Skills

During vacation, the family taught my nephew and niece a few life skills that will serve them in the future. :) We started with beer pong.

One of the reasons I wanted to make the trip home this holiday was to see my niece and nephew. I have talked to them many times on Skype, but I had never met B.

She seemed to know who I was so that was a good sign. Miss you two already! I'm so glad we got to spend so much time together since we stayed at your house.

Minnesota in January? What were we thinking?

Glenn and I bought tickets to come back to Minnesota for a few weeks in January. After seeing the pictures that my sister-in-law sent me, I'm not sure January was an ideal choice!

We haven't had more than a dusting of snow in two years with the exception of ski trips to Nagano. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to all that snow!

This picture makes me see how big Brooke is getting and I've never even met her yet! She's now 4 months old and has the biggest bluest eyes. Can't wait to meet you baby girl.
