Photo Booth

Here's another picture from the Ramen Museum. Photo Booths like this are HUGE in Japan. Almost every tourist destination as well as every arcade and random place has a photo booth. Many times you can add additional pictures, writing, icons, etc on to your print out. There are even some where the printed pictures have "enhanced" aka bigger eyes so you look more beautiful. According to my students, big eyes, big head and deer like legs are all desirable in Japan. I had to explain to them how an "hour-glass" figure is beautiful in Japan.

We tried to test out the photo booth at the arcade at a mall near by when my parents were here, but on a Friday night they were all full of teenage girls. Fun times!
