The first ever Badgirl Games were yesterday morning and they were so much fun! I felt like I was in college participating in Greek Week again. The CAG staff spouses planned the morning of fun for all of us. We even got squadron t-shirts in our squadron colors. Too cute! The Badgirl games go in conjunction with Badgirl Ball which is tomorrow night. You can read about last year's BGB

The games started with a two person scavenger hunt on bikes around base. While that was going on, we had the PIA (Pain in the A$$) challenge which involved running, strollers, umbrellas and various buildings on base to get your child's "shot record" completed. We also had the Conversion Conundrum which simulated our ability or lack of ability to use the metric system.

My favorite challenge of the day was not one I participated in, but was so much fun to watch! The Walk of Shame! No longer does this mean walking home from your boyfriend's house in last night's clothes. On Atsugi base, it means running from the O'Club to the CDC (aka daycare) in your heels just before midnight to pick up your kids and get them home to bed. The ladies had to run to the CDC in their heels and a glass of "wine" (which they couldn't spill) and pick up their baby(doll) and run back to the field. Way to go Diann, because we have an awesome runner, we won this challenge!
Another good game was the Redundant Runaround. It simulated what it is like to purchase and register a car in Japan. Buy a car, get insurance, go the Vehicle Registration Office, oh wait, you need a parking sticker, VRO again, hire an LTO (J DMV), back to VRO, etc etc. We kicked butt in this one too!
We find out at the ball tomorrow who won. I'm excited to find out!
