Kelly and Laura's Adventure Days - David's Deli

Last week, Laura and I were craving some middle eastern delicious food so we brought Annie along on our Adventure Day and hit up David's Deli in Tokyo. We felt kind of silly traveling for over an hour just to eat at a restaurant, but David did not disappoint. We had the most delicious hummus, babaghanoush, falafel, tahini mousse cake and other deliciousnesses. Yum. I forgot to take any pictures while we were there, but it was fantastic.Afterward, we walked around Shibuya (a neighborhood of Tokyo) and went in to some fun stores. Many stores were closed because last week was Golden Week (three separate holidays that fall on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the same week) so everyone in Japan has a nice little 5-day weekend. But we did manage to do some shopping including finding a fun wine store (in English no less). Buying two bottles of wine while shopping may not have been the smartest thing cause they are heavy, but we did discover that if we buy a case they will deliver it for free. Next time!Expensive wine shock face. 298,000 and 198,000 Yen. That over $3000 and $2000. What?
